Renewal: An expression of the personal experiences of female artists during and post lockdown

We are thrilled to announce our first art exhibition, Renewal, in collaboration with the excellent Creative Women’s Hub and Samar F. Zia.

As we emerge from the most disconnecting, enduring event in recent memory, our role at Fitzrovia Community Centre is to provide the space and the opportunities for our community to come together to process and heal. We are delighted to have brought together this partnership of inspiring, passionate female artists to showcase the creative women of Fitzrovia, Camden and Westminster, with a focus on those who are underrepresented in the arts world. The exhibition offers a platform for these women to share their personal journeys through the last 2 years, to encourage reflection on our own experiences, to assist our own process of renewal.

We invite you to visit our building from 17th June to 31st August to see these beautiful works displayed throughout our Centre in person.

Renewal is part of a series of arts events in the lead-up to Fitzrovia Community Centre’s 10th anniversary celebration on Saturday, 25th June from 12-4pm. Join us on the day for arts, poetry and music in our beautiful secret garden.
